Frequently Asked Questions

What is a wellness retreat? It’s an escape from the daily hustle—a chance to nourish your mind, body, and soul. Participants emerge with renewed energy, deeper self-awareness, and a network of fellow travelers who understand their journey.

Does this trip include therapy? While I am a psychologist, and this trip will include therapeutic elements, it does not include traditional therapy and is not considered to be treatment for mental health conditions. This is a wellness retreat and it is assumed that attendees are functioning well and looking for personal growth or a respite from the day-to-day.

Do I need any experience in yoga? No, the yoga practice is appropriate for individuals with or without prior experience and participation in all activities is optional.

Do I need to be an experienced artist? No, the creative workshops are appropriate for individuals with or without prior art education.

Do you accept cancellations or refunds? These retreats require up-front costs to reserve the venue, meeting rooms, and other operational logistics. I understand that things happen and to protect us both, travel insurance is required. I do not provide refunds for any cancellations.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions? We will try our best to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Please let me know in advance of any requirements and I can let you know if our venue can accommodate.

What if I want to take advantage of the double occupancy room but don’t have a travel companion? Let me know if you would like for me to pair you with another guest who may be in a similar situation. I will try my best!
